Creating the data object

You create the new data object using the portal Data > Data Objects > New Structure button. For hep see Managing Data Object Structures.

This app uses a data object named Details with four user-defined fields (columns) shown by this extract from the data object structure—

Note | An image must be stored in a VARBINARY field.

Adding data

In use, the application's Manage page writes data to the data object, but for initial testing it's useful to have at least one record pre-existing in the data object.

To manually add records to a data object:

• Select the data object from the Data Objects list.
• Click Manage Content, and then click Create on the next screen.
